ONE RUPEE is a personal finance mobile application designed for everyday users who need a simple and reliable way to track expenses without dependency on internet, data tracking, or complex systems.
While most finance apps focus on automation and analytics, they often assume high trust, financial literacy, and constant connectivity. This project intentionally challenged those assumptions.

Apps demand too much before delivering value
π THE PROBLEM
Users rely on memory or notes instead of apps
Finance apps feel complex and overwhelming
Strong discomfort around data privacy
Apps require internet, permissions, and commitment upfront
"Users don't want a financial system - they want clarity without anxiety."
Defined by constraints, not features
π SYSTEM-LEVEL THINKING
The app must work fully offline reducing dependency and improving reliability for users in low-connectivity environments.
